This most commonly happens when a person socialised as heterosexual and cisgendered internally challenges one or both of those presumptions, often leading to them coming out as LGB/Queer and/or Transgendered. Further "questionings" can occur later in life when the person reconsiders their previous conclusion about to their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
