The International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) (Template:Lang-bn) is a private university of Bangladesh. Its main campus is situated in Chittagong. It also has a branch in Dhaka. The university was founded in 1995 after the passing of the Private Universities Act of 1992. The university has six libraries with over 60,000 books between them.
IIUC, as it is commonly referred to, has been operating as a fully fledged centre of tertiary education since 1995. Currently the university offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Quranic Sciences, Dawah Studies, Computer and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Business Administration, English Language and Literature, Arabic Language and Law. The university is also launching a new Faculty of Medicine to offer Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
