The station can be heard in about a 30 mile radius around Corvallis (depending on altitude). KBVR was founded in 1966, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2006. KBVR is host to many programs: The NickelBlock NickelBlock(sports talk), Soul-Ah(Jazz/Specialty), and Pre-pre-party(Hip-Hop/RPM).
