The stadium is the home ground of FC Barcelona. It is known to be one of the biggest and most atmospheric stadiums in the world. Although popularly called the 'Nou Camp', it's official name (see below) translates as 'FC Barcelona Stadium'. The well-known 'Camp Nou' moniker was actually given to the stadium by the fans. Other stadiums named in a similar vein include Arsenal Stadium (known as Highbury to most) and the San Siro, whose official name is Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
