Elena Vasiliyevna Obraztsova (b. in Leningrad, (now St Petersburg) Russia, on July 7, 1939, is a Russian mezzo-soprano. In june 2007 Obraztsova was appointed as the artistic director for opera in Mikhailovsky Theatre in St Petersburg.
