Usually cache refers to the computer memory, cache.

A cache is also a place where items are stored (for example food, in case of emergency). Caches are sometimes concealed to keep their location and contents hidden. Valuable caches which are lost, or go left unclaimed by the owner, are called treasure troves.

cache is also short for geocache, which is a part of the sport of geocaching.
