Elena Vasiliyevna Obraztsova (b. in Leningrad, now St Petersburg Russia, on July 7, 1939) is a Russian mezzo-soprano. In june 2007 Obraztsova was appointed as the artistic director for opera in Mikhailovsky Theatre in St Petersburg.
