Lady Sovereign, real name Louise Harman (born 1987 in Wembley, London) is a British hip-hop MC. Brought up on a council estate and having left school with no qualifications, she is one of the UK's few white female MCs, and is often cited as part of the rising British hip-hop scene. Citing Ms. Dynamite as an influence, she has supported The Streets, Dizzee Rascal and Basement Jaxx on tour.
