Hi, could you clarify the origin of this picture? Did you take it yourself? --Tony Sidaway 00:55, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- No, the picture is an audience photograph but it belongs to All About Eve's unofficial (but approved) website www.goony.nl/aae and was uploaded with the express permission of the site owner. It is quite likely I miss-tagged it since I was a novice editor back then. If that was the case please replace the tag with the most appropriate one. A1octopus 10:36, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

J.R. Chandler and Babe Carey up for new deletion debate
As a commentor in the Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/J.R. Chandler and Babe Carey debate, I thought you might want to know that the debate has been re-started at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/J.R. Chandler and Babe Carey (2nd nomination) because of significant changes in the article during the debate. Mangojuice 17:14, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
David Matthew White
I have a dream: that every type of bread can be eaten by everyone in the community. Weather it be white, brown, or colored bread; this petition is a thing being written by my fingers in this very moment. Weather the weather is black, or gray, or thunder-stormy-sunny-with a little bit or snow or if the sun is shining so hard that you can cook an egg while driving around and sitting around in your hometown. And when your money is gone, stay away from my stash, and get your own because black and blue is the same as orange and turquoise. Because brain damage and the lunatic knock on my back door and hit me one more time as i ride along the 40z to freedom untill i am free and im not a badfish in thiss boulevard of broken dreams. So as you read this please tell me: where will the children play???

Dr Judd Vandal
Thanks for the help in cleaning this up. These accounts appear to be a sock of User:Trafficcontrol who started this about an hour or so ago. Wildthing61476 17:44, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome, happy to have been of use. A1octopus 18:42, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Dan Stroeh
It's ok to delete the Dan Stroeh article. I didn't mean to start an article for real; I meant to create it as a draft in my User space. I was planning on piling up a bit more research and relevance before "publishing" it. A speedy deletion would be an appropriate fate for this presently worthless article. Thanks for your vigilance, and sorry for my carelessness - Kenllama 20:32, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- No need to apologise, everyone makes mistakes. Not everyone is this gracious about it though, that's the first time I've ever been thanked for tagging an article for deletion. Also the speedy deletion was without predjudice - if the chap in question is notable then you are welcome to re-create the page if it's properly referenced. If you do publish a half-finished article that you are still working on, then use Template:Underconstruction to prevent it being CSD'd while you finish it. A1octopus 21:07, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Julian2a.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Julian2a.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 09:23, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Image:Julianmice.jpg
Hi. When you uploaded Image:Julianmice.jpg, you did not specify complete source and copyright information. Another user subsequently tagged it with {{GFDL-presumed}} and, for some time, it has existed on Misplaced Pages under the assumption that you created the image and you agreed to license it under the GFDL. This assumption, however well-meaning, is not legally sufficient and the tag is being phased out. Images using it are being deleted.
This image has been tagged for deletion and will be deleted in one week if adequate copyright information is not provided.
If you, personally, are the author of this content, meaning that you took the photograph yourself or you created the chart yourself (and it does not use any clipart that you did not create), please retag the image with a free image copyright tag that correctly describes your licensing intentions, usually {{GFDL-self}} or {{PD-self}}. Please also make sure if you have not already done so that you write a good description of what the image depicts, when you took the photo, and other important details. This will allow Misplaced Pages to continue using the image.
If you did not create the image or if it is derived from the copyrighted works of others, please keep in mind that most images on the internet are copyrighted and are not suitable for use on Misplaced Pages. Misplaced Pages respects the copyrights of others and does not use images unless we know that they have been freely licensed. Any creative work is automatically copyrighted, even if it lacks a copyright notice. Unless the copyright holder has specifically disclaimed their rights to the image and released it under the GFDL or another compatible license, we cannot use it. If you did not create the image, simply do nothing and it will be deleted in a week.
Please feel free to contact me on my talk page or leave a message at Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions with any questions you may have. Thank you. MER-C 12:51, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Middle-earth in popular culture - pre-DRV request notification
Hi there. I'm leaving a courtesy note to let you know that I am asking the closing admin to reconsider Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Middle-earth in popular culture. My arguments are laid out at User talk:Coredesat#Middle-earth in popular culture - pre-DRV request. As you took part in the original AfD, I'm notifying you so that you can add your opinion, either there or later if it goes to DRV. Thanks. Carcharoth 11:58, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
