Laas (German) or Lasa (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in South Tyrol in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km northwest of Trento and about 50 km west of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,771 and an area of 110.1 km².
The municipality of Laas contains the Ortsteile or frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Allitz/Alliz, Eyrs/Oris, Tanas, Tarnell, Parnetz and Tschengls/Cengles.
Laas borders the following municipalities: Malles Venosta/Mals, Martello/Martell, Prato allo Stelvio/Prad am Stilfser Joch, Silandro/Schlanders, Sluderno/Schluderns, and Stelvio/Stilfs.
