Victory Road is a professional wrestlingpay-per-view event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It was originally the name for the very first three-hour pay-per-view card held by TNA in November 2004 and will forever be considered a landmark event in TNA history. In 2006, it became an annual pay-per-view for the month of July.
Jarrett won when he grabbed the title after the returning Scott Hall, the debuting Kevin Nash, and himself all hit Hardy with guitars.
After the match, Nash, Hall and Jarrett stated they were taking over, and challenged the rest of TNA to stop them. They fended off A.J. Styles and 3Live Kru, but as the event went off the air, Randy Savage came out to challenge them. Savage's entrance was botched as when his entrance theme first began playing, it began to "skip." The production crew immediately stopped it from playing and put on the backup copy. By the time Savage's pyro had went off, he was already at ringside.
Afterwards Raven shaved Zbyszko bald. Zbyszko resisted violently, threatening to fire everybody involved, and eventually kicking a taunting Mark "Slick" Johnson in the groin when Slick showed him a mirror.
Early in the match, Jeff Jarrett, who was disguised as a cameraman, used a squirt bottle to squirt gasoline in Sting's eyes. Sting came back with one eye bandaged and finished the match.
In this "Match of Champions", all three titles will be on the line, with the wrestler getting the pinfall or submission winning the belt(s) of the wrestler(s) they beat.
If Angle or Joe gets the fall, they will be allowed to pick their championship partner.
