She has won several Dove Awards.
Hill made quite a name for herself in the Christian Music industry in the late 1980s, with two pop/rock Beatlesque albums, produced by Wayne Kirkpatrick, Talk About Life and Brave Heart. In 1991, shortly after the release of Brave Heart, she opened for Amy Grant's Heart in Motion tour along with Wes King. From time to time on the tour, Hill would treat audience members to her uncanny impersonation of Cher. King would do his own impersonation of Michael Jackson.
Aside from her career as a solo artist, Hill has also sung background vocals on projects by artists like Rich Mullins (Winds of Heaven, Stuff of Earth) and others.
