Re: CD Publishing article deletion
I think we disagree over its notability. While I agree it has not been mentioned in books it was a features publisher at the London Book Show in 2005 and has been mentioned on several TV and radio programs. Is there any way we can get an independent assessment of this dispute? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RobertKaplan (talk • contribs)

My RfA
Thank you for participating in my RfA. It was successful, and I am now, may God have mercy on us all, an administrator. Look at all the new buttons! I had heard about 'protect,' 'block user,' and 'delete,' but no one told me about 'kill,' 'eject,' and 'purée.' I appreciate the trust the community has in me, and I'll try hard not to delete the main page or block Jimbo. -FisherQueen (Talk) 18:12, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Beauty and the Beast (2003 film)
I have just completed an article for a movie: Beauty and the Beast (2003 film). Could you give it a quick look over to make sure it's not missing anything major and is article-worthy? -WarthogDemon 00:02, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

- Think it has any chance? It does have links to 3 actors, though I know that links don't equal notability. Is there any other major sources I could look around for to help strengthen it? -WarthogDemon 00:38, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Dave Messina: The Real Deal
Dear Godo Dodo, You recently deleted the page for the movie Dave Messina: The Real Deal because you said it was not "notable". In actuality, this movie is very notable. It was a notable independent film and of great pride to the people of New Britain. You see, this city does contribute a lot of art, but never has a movie been conceptualized, filmed, edited, and produced within this city. The premiere was a big deal and was very notable. I saw that on Misplaced Pages there was not much about New Britain except its own article and there was nothing on New Britain High School except a stub. Which I find very odd, since New Britain is an important city in Connecticut's history. So I created that article. You wanted sources so I have put the article back up this time with links at the bottom to its trailer, teaser, and official Myspace page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hardhittin'06 (talk • contribs)

Too bad you're not getting vandals who harrass me. There's one right now trying to do so and honestly I'm finding it slightly humorous. (Though at the same time I do empathize, as I have been in this vandal's place before, article wise.) Anyway, if you need cheering up, here's a page that ALWAYS gets me laughing: . Enjoy. :) -WarthogDemon 04:21, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Deleted Page As I Made An AfD
Not that I'm complaining, but you might as well delete ] now. I thought it'd be okay to give that article a chance since I didn't know if Junior League was any chance of notability or not. -WarthogDemon 05:19, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

User:Thugman123 and User:Hpsander456
I noticed you dealing with the first of this pair — I'm suspicious about a possible connection between the two (possibly socks). Hpsander has "Wikipedians who like being thug" as a category on their page, in addition to the category "Wikipedians who hate being played like a sucker", which was also added to the userpage of Thugman123 by User:Frank Anchor (see User talk:Frank Anchor), which also raises the possibility of a connection there. The only three members of that category are Thugman123 (now removed), Frank Anchor, and Hpsander456. Also, Thugman123 and Hpsander456 seem similar in that their nicks end in the sequence of digits (123/456) and both have bizarre editing habits, with each having edits flippantly proclaiming their love of bagels and cake, respectively. I'm not sure what to do to officially raise the possibility of their being socks, and I'm also aware that sockpuppets are allowed so long as they aren't abused, so I don't want to do anything. I just thought it worth maybe keeping an eye on? Angus Lepper 13:16, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Going Insane Over A Tag
When you find a sentence or paragraph that needs to be sourced, what tag do you use? I tried {{cite}}, {{source}}, and variations thereof but I can't find anything. I searched the templates and found nothing. I know such a thing exists . . . am I going mad or is it somewhere obvious that I can't see? -WarthogDemon 02:26, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

No less of an opinion
My edit to Deadliest Catch is no less of an opinion than saying that the job may be the deadliest in the world. Seriously, does anyone think those lobster fishermen have a harder job than anyone that lives in a war torn nation? I doubt it. EdRooney
Vandalism sir?
Googoo doodoo, my recent additions to Misplaced Pages were not in any way executed in a malicious purpose. A virus in my computer has unfortunately compromised my typing by taking control sometimes, thus resulting in "blanked" and "chopped-up and mutilated" articles. please do not punish me administrator sir — Preceding unsigned comment added by E3992117 (talk • contribs)

- I suppose I missed out on the thrill and exhilaration of blocking a sockpuppet this time.
:P
I encountered the edits in essentially the same way. I was checking through recent category creations and noticed that multiple categories were being created for sockpuppets of editors whom I recognise – suffice it to say it piqued my interest. I would have blocked earlier but I was distracted by something over at WP:NPOV. As for your hope that he'll give up someday ... well, it just wouldn't be the same if blocked editors didn't continually try to evade blocks with numerous obvious sockpuppets for months after their indef-block, now would it? ;) That's probably enough abuse of WP:BEANS from me for today.
