Samsat is a village in the Adiyaman Province of Turkey, situated on the upper Euphrates river. It occupies the position of the ancient fortified city of Samosata, some of whose ruins can still be seen.

The village's geographic coordinates are 37°35′N 38°28′E / 37.583°N 38.467°E / 37.583; 38.467.
