Revision as of 21:22, 26 September 2003 by Secretlondon (talk | contribs) (editor out of date and a little about controversy)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)Searchlight magazine describes itself as an "international anti-Fascist magazine", and publishes material critical of far-right political parties worldwide. It is edited by Steve Silver, a former member of the Communist Party of Great Britain.
Searchlight has consistently published exposes of the National Front and the British National Party and their members.
Searchlight has also written about organizations such as Combat 18 and the neo-nazi music scene.
Searchlight has been controversial on both the right and the left of the British political spectrum. Many organisations such as Anti-Fascist Action refuse to work with it due to its alleged links with the British security forces.
