Olivia Hussey (born Olivia Osuna on April 17 1951) is a British actress who appeared as Juliet in Zeffirelli's 1968 movie version of Romeo and Juliet. She is memorable in the Canadian horror movie Black Christmas (1974) directed by Bob Clark. Hussey also played Mary, the mother of Jesus in the 1977 television mini-series Jesus of Nazareth, also a Zeffirelli film. One of Hussey's great performances was as Rebecca of York in the 1982 made for TV remake of Ivanhoe. Hailed everywhere as a rare natural beauty, she reportedly wore next to no makeup and is also known for her husky voice.

Hussey was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is the daughter of Andreas Osuna, famous Argentine opera and tango singer, and her mother is British. She moved to England when she was seven and attended Drama Schools. Her greatest breakthrough was being chosen amongst hundreds of other contestants for the role of Juliet in 1968.

Ms. Hussey was married to the late actor Dean Paul Martin from 1971 to 1978.
