Originally released in 1990, the song has become one of Johnson's most popular pieces. It was one of the album's four vocal numbers, the other three being "Nothing Can Keep me From You", "High Landrons" and "Forty Mile Town". His other popular works include many instrumentals like "Cliffs of Dover", which can arguably be his most famous and greatest hit.
Eric Johnson recorded the song in A flat major, in 4/4 time.
