Timothy Paul Baymon is Metropolitan Archbishop of the International Communion of the Holy Christian Orthodox Church.
His home town is Springfield, Massachusetts. In January of 2006 Archbishop Baymon made national news when he was charged with assaulting another clergyman on the streets of Springfield.
His organization has purchased the Masonic Temple of Springfield, MA, for use as "international headquarters for the Christian convergence movement." The building, built in 1924 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been renamed "Basilica of the Holy Apostles." The International Communion of the Holy Christian Orthodox Church plans to convert Epiphany Tower into a Wyndham Hotel.
The Archbishop is President of New England Partners in Faith and leads the organization which is the recipient of a grant.
