Billy Mayerl (May 31, 1902- March 25, 1959), composer. Mayerl was born in London.

Mayerl's best known composition is Marigold (1927).

Billy Joseph Mayerl was an English pianist and composer who built a career in music hall and music theater and became an acknowledged master of light music. He wrote some 300 piano pieces, often named after flowers. (by Elen)
