ITV decided not to participate in Junior Eurovision 2006, thus leaving Cory the Best UK entry in Junior Eurovision, Ever.
She was dragged up in Frizington, a tribal village near Whitehaven Cumbria. Until 2005 she attended Whitehaven School, but then moved to a poncey stage school in London.
