Richard Kiel (born September 13 1939 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American actor best known for his role as "Jaws" in the James Bond movies The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker. He also portrayed an alien on a famous episode of The Twilight Zone entitled "To Serve Man", a humanoid robot in the Italian movie The Humanoid and an unlikely fan in the comedy Happy Gilmore.

He is 7 ft and 1 3/4 inches (217.8 cm). He used to state that he was 7 ft and 2 inches, since it is easier to remember. Kiel noted this in his 2002 autobiography Making It Big in the Movies (ISBN 1903111315). Kiel's distinctive height and features are the result of a hormonal condition known as acromegaly.
