New articles
I have added articles on judges Robert I. H. Hammerman and Thomas S. Baer, as well as state delegates Gerron Levi, Talmadge Branch, Nathaniel T. Oaks, and former Senator Julian L. Lapides. Additionally I started an article on Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr., news director at WBAL-TV, Ron Kershaw and two Jewsih Maryladers who fought with distinction in WWII: Jacob Beser and Isadore S. Jachman. Feel free to expand these articles or criticize (constructively).Marylandstater 17:59, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Maryland infobox
I've asked about the infobox at Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject U.S. Roads#Is there any reason to use infobox Maryland highway over infobox road? --NE2 09:02, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
DC Meetup notice
Greetings. There is going to be a Washington DC Misplaced Pages meetup on next Saturday, July 21st at 5pm in DC. Since you are listed in Category:Wikipedians_in_Maryland, I thought I'd invite you to come. I'm sorry about the short notice for the meeting. Hopefully we'll do somewhat better in that regard next time. If you can't come but want to make sure that you are informed of future meetings be sure to list yourself under "but let me know about future events", and if you don't want to get any future direct notices \(like this one\), you can list yourself under "I'm not interested in attending any others either" on the DC meetup page.--Gmaxwell 00:26, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
TfD nomination of All USRD Clean-up Templates
All of the USRD Clean-up Templates have been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. master son 16:44, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
An important letter
Dear roads editor,
You may have noticed some changes at WP:USRD lately. Some of them, like the cleanup templates and the stub templates, have been astounding and great. Unfortunately, others have been disturbing.
This has become evidenced by the departure of a few prominent editors at USRD, a few RFC's, and much fighting among USRD editors.
After the second RFC, many of us found the opportunity to take a step away from Misplaced Pages for a while--as a self-imposed wikibreak, or possibly on vacation.
The result of such introspection was that many of us were placing ourselves in a "walled garden" and on a self-imposed pedestal of authority over the roads department. Also, we were being hostile to a few users who were not agreeing with us.
In fact, IRC has been the main incarnation of this "walled garden." Decisions have been made there to conduct grudges and prejudices against a few valued USRD users with poor justification.
For this, we have come to apologize. We have come to ask your forgiveness.
In addition to this, we hope to work as one USRD team from now on and to encourage cooperation instead of the promotion of interests.
All users are welcome to collaborate on IRC, the newsletter, or anywhere else at USRD.
In the future, please feel free to approach us about any issues you may have.

Quick question
How often does the bot go thru the WikiProject Maryland page to update the status of assessed and unassessed articles? Marylandstater 14:25, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Assessments
The bot is supposed to update the totals every two days or so, which is about as long as it takes to update all of them. 3 days probably isn't overlong for a delay, although if it continues another day you might contact the 1.0 Editorial Team talk page and tell them there. USRD Inactivity check and news report
Hello, Jeff02. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:
- Please update your information at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
- There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

Bot check
Have we done something to upset our bot? It hasn't done an update since October 14, 2007. Marylandstater 13:02, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Also, in your opinion, how many of the people on the participants lists are currently editing, or what percentage of those on the list are unactive as related to the Maryland Project? Marylandstater 13:05, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
