Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian science fiction novel written by Ray Bradbury, in which books have been banned and the central character, Guy Montag, is employed as a "fireman" (which, in this case, means "book burner"). Fahrenheit 451 is the temperature at which books burn. The book was made into a film by François Truffaut, undergoing some plot changes.
