Carrefour is the third largest city of Haiti by population.
The number of its residents exceeds 300 000.
Carrefour, a poor suburb of Haiti's capital city of Port-au-Prince, is in the arrondissement of Port-au-Prince. Carrefour is a maritime city. The slum of Feuilles of Carrefour is known for the illegal execution of eleven young men, that took place there in 1999.
