Radio Five Live
The deletion was requested for housekeeping purposes here by User:Marknew. Ask him what the story is. Harro5 10:37, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
I didn't request a deletion as such: I requested that the histories of BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio Five Live be merged (to fix a copy-and-paste move), following the instructions at Misplaced Pages:How to fix cut and paste moves. According to that page, an administrator must temporarily delete the article, then follow the repair process. Since I am not an administrator, I couldn't do this myself! Hopefully Harro5 will now complete the process, now that I have told him. --Marknew 13:21, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
BBC Radio Lincolnshire
Stop posting your incorrect "facts" about BBC Radio Lincolnshire. You clearly have little knowledge of the station or its staff. --Differentgravy 18:51, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
GUS Band
The article GUS Band has been or soon will be deleted from Misplaced Pages. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. Carre's Grammar School
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Carre's Grammar School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Misplaced Pages is not" and Misplaced Pages's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Misplaced Pages, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Education in North East England
Hi, I noticed that you added a section to the North East England article on education. I was wondering just what you meant by the NE schooling system is completely comprehensive. I can think of a number of traditionally private and selective independent schools in the region, probably as many as in other northern regions. Or am I just being thick, which isn't unusual. There is no LEA that consists of wholly seclective schools I admit. hedpeguyuk 16:40, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Gt Casterton
Hi, What is the basis of your comment that "The parish is shared with Tickencote and Little Casterton". Unless this has recently changed, Gt C is a separate parish (both civil and ecclesiastical). Possibly you mena the benefice is shared ... (i.e. the distinct parishes share a priest). In which case I believe Pickworth should be added.
Thanks,"Ned" —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nedrutland (talk • contribs) 17:13, 2 April 2007 (UTC). Sorry - new to this! Nedrutland 17:55, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Caroline Flint#Personal life
Please provide sources for the paragraph you've added to the above; given that the subject is a living person, and this material could certainly be seen as contentious, as a matter of Misplaced Pages policy these are required, or else the material will have to be removed. Thank you for contributing to Misplaced Pages, DinosaursLoveExistence! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Misplaced Pages. Notability of Spalding Grammar School
A tag has been placed on Spalding Grammar School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Misplaced Pages guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Alex valavanis 17:10, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

September 2007
Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Misplaced Pages. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Chris Moyles. Readers looking for serious articles will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write (almost) whatever you want. — Zazou 22:43, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Kent
As you know the Education system in Kent is a deeply politicised issue. I have read your analysis and I fail to identify the 25 schools who you refer to as comprehensive- the catholic sector did offer 'Comprehensive' education and Sheppey did and so did the Hoo peninsula. Bennet Memorial was (if I remember right) a CofE secondary modern that called itself a comprehensive for children who had failed the Kent Test. Which brings me to the point- you have not included your references- so I cannot verify. WP:5P.
- Misplaced Pages's three principal content policies are Neutral point of view, Verifiability, and No original research. Since they complement each other, they should not be interpreted in isolation from one another, and editors should familiarize themselves with all three. Cite references from a reliable source, especially on controversial topics
Further another editor spends hours of her time copy editing Kent articles adding references where they have been ommitted. This is also serious point , as your work looks like a point of view and original work and is likely to get savaged if you cannot prove otherwise. You also filled out the article on Gwyn- could you provide the references there please. ClemRutter 09:03, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
North Yorkshire
Thank you for the information on education you supplied on the North Yorkshire article, but it lacks sources. Please could you provide the sources from which the information was derived so that others can check out the details. It is one of the basic requirements of Misplaced Pages to provide sources for material added - see WP:Cite

Paul Merrill
A tag has been placed on Paul Merrill (journalist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Misplaced Pages guidelines.
