Revision as of 16:51, 20 December 2007 by Oboeboy (talk | contribs)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)Pythian Castle (in Springfield, Missouri) was originally built in 1913 by the Knights of Pythias and later owned by the U.S. Military. It is now open to the public and the owners offer swing and ballroom dance lessons, dances, murder mystery nights and other activities. However, it was temporarily closed by the government for supposedly being unsafe, despite the fact that it has been around for a long time and nothing dangerous has happened. Just about everyone was mad at the government for temporarily closing it, and the city council's decision has yet to be announced. Hopefully, they will vote to reopen it, because they'll most likely not get reelected if they keep it closed.
