Senta (Hungarian: Zenta) is a town on the bank of the Tisza river in the North Banat District district of Vojvodina, Serbia.

Senta also forms a municipality joining the town with 4 other local communities in the area (Hungarian names in italics):

  • Gornji Breg (Felsőhelgy)
  • Bogaraš (Bogaras)
  • Tornjoš (Tornyos)
  • Kevi

All local communities have Hungarian majorities. According to the 2002 census, the municipality has a population of 25,568 of which the Hungarian community forms an absolute majority of 20,587 (80.5%). The mayor of the municipality is Attila Juhász.
