Article name
I've re-named the articles to American Gladiators (current format) and American Gladiators (original format) following the precedent set in the re-naming of the Top Gear articles. See Talk:Top Gear (current format)#Renaming for that discussion. --Madchester (talk) 05:03, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps they should be renamed according to their respective years as this format may not always be the "Current Format" and it is standard practice to differentiate series according to their years. Save-Me-Oprah (talk) 05:45, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with using years. The words "current" and "original" and completely relative. What happens when this show is cancelled? Will this still be the current format? Years are absolute and there's no way of misinterpreting them. Jtrost ( | C | #) 16:33, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Airing Dates
The article mentions that the show first aired January 6th, yet as of today (Jan 8th) there are already 3 male, and female contestants who have passed the quarterfinals. That would indicate that 2 other shows have debuted before the January 6th show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.238.49.65 (talk) 16:06, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
