"A Nice Cosy Little Disease"

"A Nice Little Cosy Disease" is the third episode of Open All Hours first season

Plot

Arkwright (Ronnie Barker) becomes really pale after a client asks him to cash a cheque. When Granville (David Jason) tells him that he looks ill, Arkwright comes up with the idea that if he can feign sickness (not too bad, just a "nice cosy little disease"), he will get the full and undivided attention of Nurse Gladys Emamnuel (Lynda Baron).

Arkwright gets into bed pretending to be "ill", and gets Granville to call the Nurse. Regrettably, when she comes, Granville trips and falls down the stairs. Nurse Gladys rushes to help Granville, forgetting about Arkwright.
