The organization also has offices in Canada. . In 2006, the organization issued a controversial report authored by former Canadian Secretary of State for the Asia-Pacific region David Kilgour and attorney David Matas alleging hospitals and jails throughout China for being involved in organ harvesting.
The organization sponsors the international Global Human Rights Torch Relay that travels through 150 cities in 35 countries of Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia to support a boycott of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. . Mattas has argued that "it is unthinkable under the Olympic Charter that the same government torturing people in one part of Beijing could be hosting the Olympic Games in another part of the same city". The head of the Canadian branch of the CIPFG is Rabbi Dr. Reuven Bulka, leader of the Congregation Machzikei Hadas, who has publicly called for Israel to put pressure on the Chinese government to cease organ harvesting by quitting the Olympic Games .
In December 2006, the Queensland government of Australia responded to a CIPFG petition by announcing the abolishment of training programs for Chinese doctors in organ transplant procedures in the Prince Charles and the Princess Alexandra Hospitals as well as ending their joint research programs into organ transplantation with China . Australian Senator Andrew Bartlett is a member of the CIPFG.
