Homeopathy article probation notification

You should be aware that Homeopathy and related articles are under probation - Editors making disruptive edits to these pages may be banned by an administrator from homeopathy and related articles or project pages. Editors of such articles should be especially mindful of content policies, such as WP:NPOV, and interaction policies, such as WP:CIVIL, WP:NPA, WP:3RR, and WP:POINT. Editors must be individually notified of article probation before being banned. All resulting blocks and bans shall be logged at Talk:Homeopathy/Article probation#Log of blocks and bans, and may be appealed to the Administrators' noticeboard. I am making you aware of this due to your recent edits and revert of water memory against consensus and without discussion. Thanks! --DrEightyEight (talk)

It seems very wrong to reverse my addition on a whim. If I have written something that is is dispute then the reason could be given. My text is both correct and unbiased. More importantly it is relevant to the Misplaced Pages topic.

Given that water memory is on "article probation" due to problems with edit-warring, I'm going to ask that you limit yourself to 1 revert per 24 hours on the page. Basically, any edit that undoes someone else's work is a revert, so I would err on the side of limiting yourself to 1 potentially controversial edit per 24 hours. In addition, if your edits are undone, it is vital to discuss your proposed changes on the article talk page rather than reinserting them, as Misplaced Pages intends to function by consensus. Generally, the onus is on people seeking to add content to justify their additions on the article talk page if they are controversial, which yours appear to be. Obviously, there is some dispute over whether the text you added is appropriate, and that needs to be resolved on the talk page. Given the terms of the probation, if you revert more than once per 24 hours or fail to discuss your edits on the article talk page, your IP may be blocked from editing temporarily without further warning. Please let me know of any questions. MastCell 19:17, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
