A character from the PS2 series Xenosaga.

Heinlein is quite possibly the third most enigmatic figure in Xenosaga, next to Wilhelm and Sellers. He is currently the acting leader of the Ormus organization, replacing the old Patriarch after his timely death. Both Margulis and Sellers seem to be under Heinlein’s wing. All three are high ranking cardinals in Ormus.

Heinlein was in league with Margulis and Sellers to overthrow the old Patriarch during the resurgence of Old Miltia, or so it seems. Heinlein is also the CEO of Hyams, Vector Industries' main competitor. Since Hyams is in control of a Zohar Emulator, Heinlein is the only person who has rivaled the research of Dr. Mizrahi.

Heinlein funds both the U-TIC organization and the Yuriev Institute, perhaps fueling the competition between the two companies. Nevertheless, U-TIC is apart of Ormus, and the Yuriev Institute may be as well, considering the high level of manipulation and under-the-table funding taking place throughout Ormus. Heinlein is a key link in the chain, and perhaps one of the masterminds.

Due to the sheer amount of manipulation, the enigmatic Heinlein could be in league with Wilhelm, despite possible rivalries on the surface. After all, Heinlein wanted the greedy Ormus Patriarch dead, and it was Wilhelm’s Testament who silenced him.
