Sir Michael "Mick" Philip Jagger (born July 26, 1943 in Dartford, Kent, England) is a British rock musician, actor, writer, composer and producer. But most famous for being the lead singer (and harmonica player) of the Rolling Stones.

He acted in these movies:

  1. Mayor of the Sunset Strip, 2003
  2. The Man from Elysian Fields, 2001
  3. Enigma, 2001 (aka Enigma - Das Geheimnis 2002 (Germany)
  4. Mein liebster Feind - with Klaus Kinski 1999 (aka My Best Fiend 1999
  5. Saturday Night Live: The Best of Mike Myers, 1998
  6. Bent, 1997
  7. Freejack, 1992
  8. Faerie Tale Theatre 1982 TV Series
  9. Wings of Ash: Pilot for a Dramatization of the Life of Antonin Artaud 1978
  10. Umano non umano 1972
  11. Ned Kelly 1970
  12. Performance 1970

Like the other members of the Rolling Stones, Jagger is often subject to satire or ridicule for the fact that he is still performing rock music live at middle age, even behaving in his usual energetic and dramatic way onstage.

Mick Jagger was knighted by Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom on 12 December 2002, for "services to popular music". His fellow rolling stone Keith Richards was unimpressed, describing it as a "paltry honour". ("I don't want to go on stage with someone wearing a coronet and sporting the old ermine. It's not what the Stones is about, is it?")
