Darko Trifunovic is a lawyer, and a self-declared specialist in terrorism from Belgrade. He is working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Security Studies. He is the author of several books and studies, published by the Documentation Center of the Government of Republika Srpska's Bureau for Relations with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. His works are considered to be fascist by the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide and human rights institutions.

Trifunovic was previously a diplomat 2001, (First Secretary) in the Foreign Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina at UN, but he was fired due to his nationalistic behaviour.

Since 2004, Darko Trifunovic was designate as representative for Serbia and Montenegro to the International Strategic Studies Association (ISSA), Defense & Foreign Affairs publications, the Global Information System (GIS).

Trifunovic is Senior Adviser of the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS) based in Greece. Trifunovic is member of the Board of Directors Jasenovac Research Institute based in New York. He is the Chief Editor of the University international bulletin "Security in Serbia".

Srebrenica Genocide Denial

Dr Darko Trifunovic is the author of a controversial 2002 report by the Documentation Center of Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka on the 1995 Srebrenica massacre. Amongst other things, the report claims that the widely accepted figure of 8,000 Bosniak men and underage boys killed in the massacre is inflated and that only about 100 Bosnian soldiers were killed by the Serb Army.
