Phillip Joseph Nevin (born January 19, 1971 in Fullerton, California) is a Major League Baseball first baseman/third baseman who plays for the San Diego Padres (1999-). In 2005, the Padres tried to trade him to the Baltimore Orioles for Sidney Ponson, but Nevin, whose contract had a limited no-trade clause that allowed him to reject trades to certain teams, declined the trade.

Previously, Nevin played with the Houston Astros (1995), Detroit Tigers (1995-97) and Anaheim Angels (1998). He bats and throws right-handed.

In a ten-season career, Nevin is a .277 hitter with 174 home runs and 620 RBI in 986 games. He was selected an All-Star in 2001.
