My interest in Misplaced Pages arose from the circumstance that a Misplaced Pages article provided a link to defamatory material about myself and others. After nine months of seeking resolution the Link was eventually removed on the grounds that the linkage was to what could be considered an 'attack site'.
I remain concerned that Misplaced Pages has adopted policies related to the "Biography of Living Persons" which provide 'protection' for those individuals who are deemed significant enough to warrant a Misplaced Pages biography, but those same policies provide no protection for those who may be incidentally named in, or linked from Misplaced Pages articles.I believe that Misplaced Pages has created rules which favour the rich, famous and powerful, while at the same time placing the ordinary person at huge disadvantage.

- That is inaccurate and misleading. The link was removed as part of a rewrite of the article, and not on the grounds of being an attack site as argued here. If you believe that this was discussed on these terms, please provide diffs, or do the honorable thing and retract it. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 15:56, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

- I stand corrected. I will ask about the reasons for the removal. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 16:05, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Whilst I appreciate the effort you've made with the Prem Rawat proposals, I'm not going to get involved at this early stage. For example, you say you have addressed "the lack of coherence between text and quoted references" but you have not provided any quoted references for many of your new inclusions, for instance, "Rawat Knowledge" and "his addresses contained references to satsang, satnam and satguru".Momento 12:17, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
Indeed the article is not perfect - reference now included at ]. --Nik Wright2 09:35, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- You will save yourself and us a great deal of time if your learn what is acceptable to Wiki. Your selection from Hansadesh is not.Momento 09:55, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

- I have all the help I need from individuals not compromised in their thinking and capacity for analysis. --Nik Wright2 (talk) 13:01, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- I was thinking more about what is permissible in Wiki and what isn't. For example, while you're welcome to use Fakiranand to imply guilt by association in your own web sites, you can't do it in Wiki.Momento (talk) 21:55, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Inappropriate use of Misplaced Pages email and Lack of Good Faith
I have posted the following at http://en.wikipedia.org/User_talk:Jossi
Your contact via Misplaced Pages email was wholly inappropriate and is indicative of gross failure under WP:GF on your part. If you wish to contact the website concerned it has an email address prominently displayed on its home page, I suggest you use that if you believe there are inaccuracies to be addressed. Frankly though as your name appears on Press Releases put out by the The Prem Rawat Foundation I can’t see the basis of your complaint – but that is between you and the website.
And are you seriously suggesting that someone intent on undermining you and/or Prem Rawat would post the following or indeed would pay a subscription in your name as per ? If you are being impersonated on the Internet that is indeed a serious matter but when a simple search on Google throws up time specific sources that follow a promoted event using words that exactly mirror those published on the promoter's own website, your proposition looks absurd.
Do not contact me by private email again over these maters and do not use my editing of Misplaced Pages as a basis to involve me in problems which appear entirely of your own making. It takes only a modicum of effort to establish the ownership of a website and unless you have some evidence I suggest you do not embarrass yourself further by suggesting that I have any connection with any website whatsoever. I have authored a single article about Ron Geaves’ writings about Prem Rawat, which does indeed appear on the website that you are concerned about – that does not place me in any position to ‘pass on’ any of your claims. Do it yourself.
