It is the Asian service of Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC). It is broadcast from Singapore and Hong Kong.
Programming
The channel's major business day programmes are:
- CNBC Asia Squawk Box, 6am-9am (Hong Kong/Singapore time) presented by Martin Soong.
- Asia Market Watch, 9am-12 noon, presented by Amanda Drury.

CNBC Asia runs a ticker providing information from major Asian stock exchanges, as well as US and Europe recaps, on screen during business day programmes. CNBC Asia's on-air look is similar to CNBC US, using much the same graphics and music package. This is in contrast to CNBC Europe, which designed much of their own on-air look.
From 12 noon to 4pm, CNBC Europe programmes ( Today's Business and Squawk Box Europe) are broadcast. Overnight, CNBC programmes are broadcast.
Other CNBC Asia Pacific services
CNBC Asia Pacific provides the following opt-out services, which broadcast the same programes as CNBC Asia, but provide a local ticker and some opt-out programming

In conjunction with local partners it provides the following local services:

- Nikkei-CNBC (in Japan),
Formally MBN-CNBC was also provided in Korea. However CNBC and MBN agreed to dissolve their partnership in May 2005, and CNBC is now looking for another local partner in Korea.
