Mud were a British glam rock band formed in 1968, best remembered for their single Tiger Feet which was 1974's UK best seller. Mud comprised of vocalist Les Gray, who died of throat cancer on 21 February, 2004, drummer Dave Mount, bass guitarist Ray Stiles and lead guitarist Rob Davis. They first appeared on the Basil Brush show on British TV and toured as support for Jack Jones. The band split in 1977.
