I'm saying 'later' because I don't want this to be goodbye, but the great path of life seems to have taken me elsewhere. Maybe someday it will go full circle. This is a great site, and a great community. Go easy on each other and remember that there's a good chance that you and your fellow editor have the same goal in mind. To all my friends and enemies, and everyone in between, I wish you the best of luck in life and love.
Cheers,

Still reading? |
I should start labeling these... |
Meh, I always enjoyed chaos more than order. |
But it's hard for other users to follow! |
Why are they reading it in the first place? |
Maybe they enjoy all the old signposts... |
Or just the memories themselves... |
Will ye no' come back again?
Bonnie 'Roid is noo awa',
Safely ower the friendly main;
Mony a heart will break in twa',
Should he ne'er come back again.
Hope you at least get to read this ... I shall miss my original mentor in this strangely compulsive wikiworld. Our work on GR seems to have remained fairly stable, which is testimony to your sound editorial instincts (or could it be the decent obscurity of the subject?).
My contributions too have been rather sporadic lately, though I did some work on the FAC stages of Suleiman the Magnificent and the Ming Dynasty—& even, to a lesser extent, the Atom and Oxygen.
Who knows, perhaps we'll collaborate again one day on some recondite area of human knowledge. All the best, & lang may yer lum reek! --NigelG (or Ndsg) | Talk 09:22, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
