Balaur is one of the Romanian words for Dragon, although the latter exists as such in Romanian. The Balaur is the last step to releasing the Princess (see also the Zmeu).It is a traditional character which is found in most Romanian fairy tales.It usually stands for Evil in general.The Prince Charming is its lifelong enemy.
