My name is Zvi Lerman and I am a professor of agricultural economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My professional interests focus on land reform and farm restructuring in countries in transition -- CIS and CEE. In addition to Hebrew and English, I am fluent in Russian, which is a great help for my work in transition countries. I started editing in the end of March 2008 and in the initial phase I work on improving articles for those countries in WikiProject Central Asia where I have traveled extensively (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan).
