Structure

Hierarchy definition

No classification of this project has been defined.

Departments

Projects

  1. Find a way to define "intelligent design" which is equally acceptable to opponents and advocates
  2. Redo the introductory paragraphs so that a reader cannot tell whether Misplaced Pages agrees or disagrees with opponents who condemn it as "non-scientific".
  3. Make the article neutral on the question of whether ID *is* Creationism
    • Perhaps it merely "supports" Creationism or "undermines" Evolutionism

Tasks

  1. Place the {{WikiProject intelligent design}} banner on the talk pages of all articles that fall within the scope of this project.
  2. Add the articles to the Misplaced Pages:WikiProject intelligent design/Articles list by category.
  3. Check the recent changes function for recent changes in the articles supported by the project, including improvements, other changes, and vandalism.
  4. Check the Category:intelligent design articles needing attention for any articles requiring immediate attention.
  5. Reassess (for both quality and importance) and improve articles that have below average rated quality for their rated importance:
    1. Top-importance articles that are only B-class:
      1. Discovery Institute
      2. Irreducible complexity
    2. High-importance articles that are only Start-class:
      1. Darwin on Trial
      2. Icons of Evolution
      3. Michael Behe
      4. Phillip E. Johnson
      5. Santorum Amendment
      6. Specified complexity
      7. The Design Inference
    3. Mid-importance articles that are only Stub-class:
      1. Charles Thaxton
      2. Glenn Branch
      3. Kevin Padian
      4. Robert T. Pennock
      5. Michael Denton
  6. Find sources for, and expand, older and lesser-known cases in Category:Creationism-related court cases

Adopt an article

Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.
