CKPR is a Canadian television station. It is a CBC affiliate, broadcasting on channel 2 and cable 5 in Thunder Bay, and via a translator owned by the CBC in the Nipigon area (CBLK-TV, channel 16 with an ERP of 4.3kw). It can also be seen on the Bell ExpressVu (channel 211) and Star Choice (channel 304) satellite services.

The station is a twinstick with the CTV affiliate CHFD, owned by Thunder Bay Television, itself owned by Dougall Media. As one of the CBC's private affiliates, CKPR airs a predominantly CBC schedule, but does not air the full network schedule at all times. In fact, CTV programs can often be seen on this station.

CKPR began broadcasting on October 4, 1954, as CFPA-TV (the "PA" stands for Port Arthur). Three years later the station became CFCJ-TV on July 20, 1957, and five years later, re-called itself again, this time the current CKPR-TV. The "PR" in CKPR also stands for Port Arthur, but uses the "R" instead of "A".
