Bjørnsletta is a station on Kolsåsbanen (line 6) between Åsjordet and Lysakerelven of the Oslo T-bane. It is located in the Ullern borough. Along with Frøen, Bjørnsletta is one of only two stations on the subway network which lacks step-free access to the platform.. The station was opened June 15 1942 when the line from Røabanen to Jar was completed. Along with most of the line, Åsjordet has been closed for upgrades since July 1 2006 and is service is temporarily provided by bus line 43.. The area around Bjørnsletta is mainly residential.
