Stephen Webber (born June 8, 1983) is a candidate for the Missouri State House of Representatives in the 23rd district, located in Columbia. He is running against Cande Iveson in the Democratic primary election, to be held on August 5, 2008.

Webber is a reservist in the U.S. Marine Corps and has served two tours of duty in Iraq. On his second tour, he led the 1st Squad., 2nd Platoon, Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 24th Marines. His essays about his experiences in Iraq have been published in two books: Operation Homecoming, the product of an initiative by the National Endowment of the Arts; and Behind the Lines, a New York Times bestseller. He is a graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia and Saint Louis University in St. Louis, where he studied economics. He is a former aide to U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill.

Webber has received endorsements from several prominent Missouri organizations and politicians, including former Governor Roger B. Wilson, the Missouri AFL-CIO, the Missouri National Education Association, the Missouri State Teachers Association, the Missouri/Kansas Council of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Democracy for Missouri, the American Federation of Teachers Missouri and the Mid-Missouri Labor Club.

Webber seeks to replace current state representative Jeff Harris, who is running for attorney general.
