About me

My name is Zvi Lerman and I am a professor of agricultural economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. My professional interests focus on land reform and farm restructuring in countries in transition -- CIS and CEE. In addition to Hebrew and English, I am fluent in Russian, which is a great help for my work in transition countries. I started editing in the end of March 2008 and in the initial phase I work on improving articles for those countries in WikiProject Central Asia where I have traveled extensively (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan). I have recently expanded my scope to include collective farms and agricultural cooperatives as part of WikiProject Cooperatives.

Feel free to contact me by e-mail at lerman@agri.huji.ac.il (in English, Russian, or Hebrew) and visit my web site on http://departments.agri.huji.ac.il/economics/lerman-main.html
