He was elected on December 21, 1999, and his term ends December 20 2008. Caprio represents portions of South Kingstown and Narragansett. He is the son of Joyce and Judge Frank Caprio and the brother of Rhode Island State Treasurer Frank T. Caprio.
Representative Caprio attended Bishop Hendricken High School, graduating in 1985. He then went on to Boston College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1989. He allegedly holds degrees from Suffolk University Law School (a J.D.) and the University of Southern Europe (an MBA).
David Caprio works as an attorney for the Providence law firm Caprio and Caprio and is an active real estate investor with holdings in Florida, Narragansett, Newport, and Barrington Rhode Island.
David has made a career of doing absolutly nothing but throw stones at the statehouse and try to further his own career at the expense of his constituents, he spends thosands of dollars telling the voters what a great job he is doing and throws out to them all his great acomplishments that are actualy bills that others have written and passed, David figures that no one will ever bother to check what he says, and for the most part he is probably right, as he himself has said "why would any of these morons ever think thaat I would lie to them"
David has spent so many years living his lie that he believes that he has`done all the things he claims to do. David is a sad person but as more and more savy people discover the wealth of info about candidates on the internet his house of cards will collapse.
Then maybe he can feel comfortable coming out and comfortable voting in Providence where he lives and not worry about his father doubling the size of his house without permits again while "David" lives there etc etc.
Thats all for now folks,tomorrow maybe we will get into the lack of respect his fellow legislators have for him and why and as a bonus David will give us a lesson on how to smile and lie to someones face without feeling guilty at all!
