This user is non-permanently away from Misplaced Pages as of 15 May 2007. This is because Far too busy in real life. Will never return for FG-related editing due to freaky information-controlling and propaganda-spewing turning ugly - mass harassment, knowledge of information far beyond what the average member of the public can do, etc. by certain Wiki editors. Will engage in the occasional edit for non-FG-related pages from now on.
This user: International relations major at PhD level specializing in Korean nuclear affairs. // This section may also be vandalized in the future by Falun Gong apologists from Seoul, Korea (which is shameful for any true Korean to do) thinking that this helps their cause.
To Pro-Falun Gong vandals/apologists: How does vandalizing user pages help your cause? Only someone lacking in maturity would go about cussing. Or is it because you have nothing worthwhile to say about Falun Gong? And why hide behind an anon. IP address? Have the guts to take responsibility for your own comments! Otherwise, we can see who's really pathetic.
Just a disclaimer: I am neither a pro-FG or anti-FG 'friend', but I do strive to be friendly with both extreme camps. It's called diplomatic relations.
NB: The layout on this page does NOT work on Mozilla Firefox.
This alleged user can be said to maintain an ill-defined policy or other custom of neutrality or other ambiguity-related quality on some or all issues that may be potentially controversial to some alleged people.
(I won't bother listing the many pages to which I have made general English grammar/spelling etc. edits plus other edits that are not major - you can check my user contributions page for that!)
Current engagement on Misplaced Pages
I (used to) edit/update the six-party talks entry regularly, due to my specialization. Was the end of the fifth round of talks on February 13, 2007 a success? Will it last this time?
When editing in good faith and the spirit of debate (apart from a few immature lashing outs) editing Misplaced Pages articles to make them more encyclopedic is a pleasure. When there is total information control - what to include or not, what language to use, systematic silencing of opposition, mass harassment of anybody who dares voice criticism, insistence that all other people only label their belief system / cult good - in other words, when things turn sour, there is no point of continuing. I am not an organization with infinite resources, time and members / lackeys to push any personal agenda. One person alone cannot take up a cause unless they find a calling, and dealing with FG is certainly not that for me. Since Misplaced Pages has its shortcomings, I'll just leave this. I have no interest in taking up any cause in a mass propaganda war. What you see after this section is what I used to object to most:
Significant POV pushing on Falun Gong-related pages
There is a need to re-quote Wiki's guide: "POV pushing is a term used on Misplaced Pages to describe the aggressive promotion of a particular point of view... The term may be regarded as incivil and should be used with care and only in unambiguous cases."
Wiki not a battleground; must assume good faith
Policy that has a wide variety of applications by different users in different contexts. Hard to be consistent.
The maturity of editors is also reflected in how they deal with arguments and misperceptions as well as accusations.

I don't see how vandalizing user pages helps the Falun Gong cause, I really don't. And why waste your time vandalizing Misplaced Pages pages? Is this the only way you can express your opinion and people will notice?
I don't see why I have to be fiercely anti-commie in order to be rightist/conservative. It's not like I support appeasement.
