It is located in the Northville Public Schools district. Students from 6th to 8th grade attend. The school's teams are known as the Patriots. The school's rival is the Hillside Raiders.
Layout
Meads Mill Middle School is built around different centrums called Pods. These include the A Pod, the B Pod, the C Pod, the D Pod. The A Pod is for the sixth graders and the eighth graders. The A Pod is for sixth grade and the b pod is for the eighth grade but sometimes they go to the A pod. the C pod is the main hallway that includes a few classrooms that are strictly for science and electives. The D Pod is the cafeteria and gym. The E pod is for seventh grade. The E pod is a new addition added in summer 2005.
