I like it a lot; I've lived here eight years now. I see from Misplaced Pages:Wikipedians/Germany#Berlin you live in Reinickendorf, a part of town I know moderately well (I sang in the church choir of Frohnau once). Sorry, I intended to do it that night and got distracted. I am positive your English is better than my German (I'm badly out of practice, and was never as fluent as I wanted to be), so I'd encourage you to do the translation, as you suggest. :-) I'm happy to look it over after you've done your work (which was excellent on Tina Theune-Meyer, as I recall). A Query

I am pretty new to Misplaced Pages, and constantly both learning and astonished. I cannot quite make it all out - like the world, it is probably a mystery.

More specifically - how did you pick up and welcome user:Eliot Stearns? Since he wrote an article on the Wiener Library it seems entirely appropriate but how did it happen? Was that also 'chance.'

I am looking for help with developing the article on Hannah Arendt and synchronistically checked to see if there was an article on the library as part of my attempt to make contact with Margaret Canovan who did the introduction to the English edition of Arendt's : "The Human Condition."

I came to your page to find who it was that had welcomed 'eliot_stearns' and find there a reference to WP:CSB which is a major concern of mine! Still of greater interest to me is synchronicity. Jeffrey Newman 08:03, 22 July 2005 (UTC)

Geo-stub and political

Cunningham, Queensland Electoral District you converted a stub from generic stub to Category:Australia geography stubs I'm not sure I agree. Electoral districts in Australia have boundaries that move every few years, and have no significance other than being the pool of voters from which a member is elected to arliament. Not asying it is wrong, just not sure it is appropriate. There is a Category:Electoral divisions of Australia but it is not applicable as it covers Commonwealth rather than state seats. Also Oz geo-stubs is overloaded. Alex Law 10:53, 30 July 2005 (UTC)

categorized deletion

I see your point... I guess I think of it as still being in one place because of the way I use it - I go to WP:VFD and click on the latest day, then go back through the previous few days by simply changing the last digit of the page's name. It does have an advantage over a category in that you can see what items are new, though. Grutness...wha? 01:08, 5 August 2005 (UTC)

Edit: I have a question. If i want to make a new page, how do i do that? Normally i search and nothing comes up and it says i can make a new page. But when i search this particular phrase stuff comes up but which does not relate to what i want to write. Help needed!
